Docubee Data Mapping (curly brace powers) contains unexpected formatting

Modified on Thu, Aug 29 at 9:23 PM

When using the curly brace powers {% PROPERTY %} to pass values into a document, some of the values returned are CAPITAL even though when those values were inputted they were all lower/letter case.

The issue is that the area of the document that you are utilizing curly brace powers within is currently formatted/stylized in some way that forces capitalization or unexpected letter casing.

For example, in this document. the first line is "styled" using Normal:

Whereas the 2nd line is styled using Intense Reference:

So when we use Data Mapping in our Workflow (Generate Document Task) our values will be formatted to that of the document.

Notice how the boo is all lower cased on the right hand side, this is reading exactly how it was written within the word document {% boo %} but visually we see it as all capital BOO. And that's because of the Intenese Reference style:

A sample workflow illustrating this issue can be found here: https://docubee.app/workflow/fc307dcd-0543-44cf-891b-e043339f4207

Input of workflow:

Output - even though I entered it in all lowercase, it came out as capital, and that's because of the Style applied to that portion of text:
